What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a motorcyclist at I-30 in Hunt County, TX on August 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. A Yamaha motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Capriano Gonzales reportedly made a lane change when unsafe and tried to travel through a small space between a pair of semi-trucks. The bike was unable to do so and struck the rear of one of the trucks, causing Gonzales serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Police charged Gonzales with Changing Lanes When Unsafe.
