What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at US 75 in Sherman, TX on July 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:28 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 33-year-old Carl Bills was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer. Officers say traffic in the area had stopped in a lane of travel due to a stalled vehicle ahead. The tractor-trailer had come to a stop due the traffic when it was struck by the motorcycle. Authorities say the motorcycle also struck a second tractor-trailer in an adjacent lane and indicated that Bills was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries. No other injuries were were reported.
