Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at TX 288 in Alvin, TX on March 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:55 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 39-year-old Houston man was reportedly headed northbound in the southbound lanes of TX 288 when it collided head-on with a southbound Chevrolet Cruze operated by 25-year-old Carl Douglas Orise Jr. The impact of the collision caused Orise fatal injuries at the scene.
