What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 59 in Fort Bend County, TX on June 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:15 a.m. A Honda Accord operated by 37-year-old Carlos Nava Morales reportedly lost control at a curve in the road and veered into a grassy area. The vehicle then attempted to correct back onto the road before overturned, ejecting Morales from the vehicle and causing him fatal injuries. Responding officers suggested that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
