Officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at FM 554 in Ector County, TX on August 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 headed westbound on Cottonwood Rd before allegedly missing a posted stop sign at an intersection. Reports claim the vehicle proceeded through intersection and collided with a Dodge Ram 2500m before leaving the roadway and overturning. The driver of the Ram 1500, identified as 30-year-old Carlos Olivas Gonzalez, was seriously injured, reports say. The other driver, only identified as a 39-year-old Hobbs, NM man, had minor injuries.
