Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at Rowlett Rd in Garland, TX on June 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:54 a.m. Investigators say a Ford F-150 headed eastbound on Rowlett Rd lost control while navigating a slight curve in the roadway. Reporters say the vehicle veered out of its lane and struck a nearby guardrail before overturning. The vehicle rotated into an embankment, ejecting the three occupants from inside. Both 19-year-old passenger, identified as Carlos Villalta Jr and 19-year-old driver, Cristian Rodriguez Gomez, were fatally injured, reports say. A third 19-year-old occupant, who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
