What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US Hwy 84 in Littlefield, TX on July 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a passenger vehicle allegedly failed to yield right of way to oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck operated by 67-year-old Danny Clawson. The collision left the driver of the other vehicle, 30-year-old Carmen Rodriguez and a passenger, 13-year-old Rosalin Rodriguez, with fatal injuries at the scene. A five-year-old also in the vehicle was seriously injured and hospitalized. Clawson suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
