What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash at State Hwy 87 in Orange, TX on July 26th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:07 p.m. A FedEx truck was parked a northbound right travel lane as the driver was making a delivery when a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 73-year-old Carolyn Ardoin Arnold. The truck reportedly swerved into a left lane to avoid the collision but was unable. Arnold suffered serious injuries in the collision. The FedEx driver was  not injured and was cited for being parked in a moving lane of travel.
