Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Musgrave Blvd in Abilene, TX on April 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Forester operated by 73-year-old Carolyn Smith Lovell was headed southwest in an inside lane of Musgrave Blvd. At the same time, police say a BMW X3 operated by a 33-year-old Abilene, TX man was in an outside lane headed northeast. Investigators believe the Suburu performed a left turn ahead of the BMC, the two vehicles colliding in the process. The crash left Lovell with injuries believed to be serious in nature. The Abilene man had less serious injuries, according to investigators. Additional information was not available.
