Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1459 in Brazoria County, TX on February 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:10 p.m. A Ford Focus operated by 29-year-old Casey Griffin reportedly was headed southbound on FM 1459 and approached a curve in the roadway. The vehicle veered from the road across a northbound lane before going down a grassy median and overturning into a group of trees. Griffin suffered serious injuries and reports indicate a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charge was recommended or issued.
