What Happened

Authorities in Concho County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on December 25, 2024, at approximately 8:37 p.m. on FM 765. A Ford Ranger, whose operator was allegedly traveling west under the influence of alcohol, crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a Kia Sedona. The 24-year-old  driver of the Ford, identified a Marissa Powell, was partially ejected, and sustained fatal injuries. The 79-year-old  driver of the Kia, identified a Cecil Kelley and 78-year-old passenger, Priscilla Kelley, were both restrained and sustained fatal injuries. Alcohol intoxication, drug use, and driving on the wrong side of the road were identified as contributing factors. Additional information was not available.
