Police are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at US 80 in Sunnyvale, TX on July 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:44 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra was eastbound, approaching stopped traffic before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of a Toyota Tacoma. The impact is said to have pushed the Tacoma into a Toyota Corolla ahead, the impact seriously injuring 49-year-old Corolla occupant, Celia Alaniz. Reports say a 14-year-old passenger in the Corolla was also seriously injured while the 52-year-old driver had less serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
