Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Aldine Westfield Rd in Harris County, TX on October 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:27 a.m. Investigators say the a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a 42-year-old Houston man was traveling northbound. Also headed northbound was a Nissan Altima operated by 47-year-old Chanda Latona Thomas. Police say the Dodge allegedly failed to control its speed before colliding with the Nissan. The collision left Thomas with serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
