What Happened

Police in the area have identified the person killed in a multi-vehicle accident at SW Drive in Abilene, TX on September 21st, 2021. They say it happened just after noon and involved four vehicles. A Honda Civic operated by 19-year-old Sebastian Ocha was headed westbound on SW Drive when it reportedly struck the rear of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The impact sent both vehicles into oncoming traffic where a Chevrolet Silverado hit the Honda head-on. A Ford F-150 then struck the rear of the Silverado. Ocha was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The other three drivers were treated for minor injuries. A passenger in the Honda, 18-year-old Chandler Sikes, died from his injuries shortly after arriving at an area hospital. Police say neither Sikes nor Ocha were wearing seatbelts.
