Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Business 35 in Aransas County, TX on October 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima operated by 30-year-old Chandra Dixon was previously southbound on Business 35 before allegedly veering into an opposite lane. Sources say the vehicle was traveling the wrong direction prior to colliding head-on with a Mercedes-Benz operated by a 47-year-old Tulsa, OK woman. Following the collision, authorities say the vehicle continued south before colliding head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram 1500. Officials say both the Mercedes operator and Dodge driver had non-life-threatening injuries. Dixon suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
