Wichita Falls Police are investigating a head-on collision that killed at least one person involved at Airport Dr and Spur 325 in Wichita Falls, TX on June 3rd, 2023. Officials say it happened around 12:14 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu was headed northbound as a Honda Ridgeline traveling southbound in the northbound lanes approached. The two vehicles ended up colliding head-on, leaving the driver of the Malibu, 25-year-old Chaquon Jeffery, with fatal injuries. His front seat passenger, 25-year-old Veronica Diaz, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the Honda, identified as 39-year-old Brandon Wright, was also hospitalized with serious injuries. Police expressed suspicion that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
