Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 2425 in Hood County, TX in November 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:57 p.m. A Kia Soul operated by 79-year-old Charles E Bolton was headed westbound on FM 2425 while a Chevrolet Cruze operated by 47-year-old Vanessa Sweet was headed eastbound. Officials say that as the vehicles were rounding a curve, the collided head-on under unclear circumstances. Bolton suffered fatal injuries while Sweet was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
