What Happened

Area authorities have details on a crash that injured a person at TX 183 in Fort Worth, TX on September 13th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 4:21 p.m. A Peterbilt truck operated by a 55-year-old Euless man was headed eastbound on 183 behind a Toyota Corolla operated by 45-year-old Amy Cashell. After the Corolla came to a stop, the Peterbilt failed to slow in time and collided with the rear of the Corolla. Investigators say the Euless man indicated that the size and weight of the truck prevented it from being able to come to a more immediate stop and it struck the Corolla multiple times. As this occurred, 24-year-old Corolla passenger, Charles Cashell, is said to have exited the vehicle to capture footage of the accident and sustained serious injuries in the process. Neither driver was injured.

Already have the police report? You might need an "Open Records Packet"

If that's not enough information, you might need an Open Records Packet. An ORP is essentially all evidence that the authorities have collected. It usually contains photos, witness statements, measurements, and more and goes way beyond the police report.
