What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at County Road II in Texas County, OK on October 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by 76-year-old George Thomas Miller was eastbound as a Chevrolet LTD operated by 68-year-old Charles D Murdock was westbound. Sources say the commercial truck was left of a center before the vehicles collided head-on. The Chevrolet is said to have overturned into a north ditch in the crash, ejecting Murdock from the vehicle and leaving him with fatal injuries at the scene. Sources allege Miller was uninjured.
