What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a person at US 385 in Odessa, TX on September 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:32 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado was headed south in northbound lanes when it collided with a Ford F-250. The 250 then collided with a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Silverado, 49-year-old Charles Mello, died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Ford were hospitalized and treated for minor injuries. The Camry driver and passengers were treated at the scene.
