What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 466 in Sequin, TX on September 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:25 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Terrain operated by a 42-year-old Seguin man was headed southbound prior to veering into a northbound GMC Sierra operated by 21-year-old Chase Boenig. Police say the Seguin man allegedly looked down at a phone prior to the collision, which left both drivers with serious injuries. Officers recommended and/or  issued a DWI charge against the Seguin man.
