Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 277 in Baylor County, TX on September 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:42 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet 3500 was northeast on Hwy 277 before entering into a center median for unconfirmed reasons. Authorities say the vehicle struck a culvert and went airborne before landing and rolling onto its passenger side, its fuel tank landing in the roadway. Reports say an approaching Chevrolet Blazer collided with the fuel tank. The driver of the 3500, identified as 25-year-old Chase Wilson, was seriously injured, reports say. The occupants of the Blazer were allegedly uninjured. Additional inforamtion was not immediately available.
