Officials say the incident happened around 11:11 p.m. A Jeep Cherokee operated by 41-year-old Martin Alvarez Rodriguez is accused of traveling eastbound in westbound lanes before colliding head-on with a Hyundai Sonata operated by 30-year-old Joshua Garner. Garner and a passenger, 23-year-old Chasity Nevels, were both seriously injured. Rodriguez was not injured and reports indicate that both he and Garner were possibly issued DWI charges.
