Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at Old Mexia Rd in McLennan County, TX on July 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee headed northwest on Old  Mexia Rd is alleged to have failed to stop at a stop sign before entering onto US 84. There, repros say the vehicle collided with a Ford F-150 operated by 63-year-old Cherryl Compton. Reports say both Compton and her 51-year-old passenger were seriously injured. The occupants of the Jeep had less serious injuries, reports say. Sources indicate the driver was cited for Failure to Yield Row.
