Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a child at Katies Woods Dr in Grapevine, TX on May 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:46 p.m. According to investigators, a KTM Enduro motorcycle was headed northbound on Katies Woods De when it began to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone. The vehicle then lost control and slid onto its side and crashed into a median. An 11-year-old female passenger was seriously injured as well as the 42-year-old Grapevine male driver, who was charged with Intoxication Assault.
