Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a child at Lake Shore Dr and Stewart Circle in Waco, TX on December 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:26 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 headed eastbound on West Lake Shore Dr allegedly failed to remain in its lane before crossing into westbound traffic. There, police say the vehicle collided with a westbound Chrysler Town & Country. Authorities say a 7-year-old child in the Chrysler suffered fatal injuries. Six other children in the vehicle suffered injuries believed to be non-life-threatening while four other occupants also had non-life-threatening injuries.
