What Happened

State Police have details on a crash that injured two people at Hampton Rd in Dallas, TX on November 4th, 2021. They say the crash happened around 10:55 p.m. and involved a Dodge Ram and Nissan Pathfinder. The Dodge, said to have been operated by 30-year-old Jessica Gabrielle Tobar, was headed southbound on Hampton Rd in a left turn lane while the Pathfinder, operated by 48-year-old Michie Lynne Williams, was headed northbound in a west lane near a curb. The Dodge is said to have failed to yield after turning on a flashing yellow arrow, entering into the path of the Nissan. Both vehicles collided, causing serious injuries to a Nissan passenger, 54-year-old Chris Ann Williams. Michie Williams suffered less serious injuries while Tobar was reportedly uninjured. Investigators allege that Tobar may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
