What Happened

Montgomery County Police are investigating a crash that injured a teen at FM 1485 in New Caney, TX on June 30th, 2021. Police say a vehicle operated by 44-year-old Scott Cozine was traveling at a high rate rate of a speed when it crashed head-on into a motorcycle around 10:30 p.m. Chris Ripley suffered a partially amputated leg and was hospitalized with other injuries as well. Cozine was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash and arrested on a charge of Intoxication Assault.
