What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at Toepperwein Rd in Live Oak, TX on March 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. According to investigator, a Cadillac CTS operated by 36-year-old Keith Demond Walker was exiting a Valero gas station lot to turn left onto Toepperwein Rd was a Cadillac SRX was entering the roadway. The CTS is said to have crossed left as the SRX approached, the two vehicles colliding. The resulting impact is said to have caused the driver of the SRX, identified as 46-year-old Christi Lynn Hajek, serious injuries. Walker is believed to have been uninjured and officers recommended and/or issued a No Driver's License charge/citation.
