Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-27 in Lubbock County, TX on August 11th, 2024. Authorities are saying the incident happened around 5:05 a.m. Investigators believe a GMC Sierra traveling northbound on I-27 veered from its lane for unknown reasons before colliding with a guardrail. From there, reports say the vehicle entered into a concrete embankment and went through a grass median before overturning.
