Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at County Rd 378 in Rusk County, TX on July 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by 21-year-old Christian Luna was headed northwest on CR 378 when the vehicle veered from the road into a southbound ditch. It then continued through the ditch before crashing into a tree. Reports indicate that Luna, who officers allege suspicion may have been under the influence of alcohol, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
