What Happened

Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed three people at Ella Blvd in Harris County, TX on June 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang was allegedly traveling at or above highway speeds before losing control while navigating a curve in the roadway. Reports say the vehicle veered from the road, entering onto center median and striking a raised curb. Officials say the vehicle continued traveling forward before colliding with a tree, the impact ejecting two of the vehicles occupants. Authorities say 33-year-old passenger, Christian Rodriguez, was fatally injured. Also killed was 18-year-old passenger Andrew Rangel while a second 18-year-old passenger, identified as Kameron Almaguer, was seriously injured. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Fernando Almaguer, who was also fatally injured. Additional information was not available.
