What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Scottsdale Dr in Cedar Park, TX on October 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:56 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti Q60 is alleged yo have reversed out of a parking space in a parking lot before striking a second Infiniti. Police allege the vehicle pulled forward before reversing and striking the vehicle a second time, pinning the driver of the second vehicle after they exited their vehicle following the first strike. That driver, identified as 42-year-old Christopher Barney, suffered serious injuries, police say. The other driver, a 35-year-old woman who was not publicly identified, was not injured, according to investigators.  Police say the woman was arrested for DWI.
