Authorities in Angelina County, TX, are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on December 5, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Old Diboll Highway. A Honda CR-V was traveling south when it attempted a faulty evasive maneuver at excessive speed and collided head-on with a Hyundai Palisade traveling north. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to a 27-year-old occupant of the Honda, Christopher Ebarb, who was pronounced dead at 1:32 p.m. Three other occupants in the Honda, including Caitlyn Landrum, sustained suspected serious injuries. The driver of the Hyundai, 32-year-old Ashley Brown, also suffered serious injuries.
