What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 1644 in Robertson, TX on February 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:25 a.m. A Dodge Ram 2500 operated by 43-year-old Christopher Hidrogo was headed westbound on FM 1644 when it veered from the road into a barrow ditch. The truck continued forward and struck a cinderblock wall sign and light pole before rotating into another pole and tree. Hidrogo was thrown from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
