What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-635 in Dallas, TX on June 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:52 p.m. A Honda Pilot operated by 43-year-old Christopher Hulsey was towing a trailer while headed westbound when the trailer began to lose control due to suspected uneven weight distribution in the trailer. As items from the trailer began to make their way onto the road, a tractor trailer in an adjacent lane jackknifed. The Pilot lost control and collided with the tractor-trailer in the process. Hulsey was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. The other driver was not injured.
