Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Irving Ave in Beaumont, TX on July 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:12 p.m. A Cadillac Escalade operated by 31-year-old Christopher Jamal Cormier was headed north, allegedly at an unsafe speed, when it lost control during a right turn. It then veered from the road and crashed into a traffic light pole, causing serious injuries for Cormier. Police also issued at DWI charge.
