Police say the incident happened around 6:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 49-year-old Christopher Lynd was eastbound on Hwy 164 before veering from the road for unclear reasons. Reports say the vehicle traveled into a bar ditch where it traveled over multiple culverts before striking a fence. From there, reports say the vehicle went through the fence into a field where it struck a tree and power pole. Police say Lynda was seriously injured in the incident.
