What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at I-10 in El Paso, TX on September 22nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:28 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Jetta is said to have lost control on a one-way, two-lane road. The vehicle struck a a guardrail, reports say, occupants of a nearby vehicle stopping to try to render aid. In the process, reports say an approaching Audi collided with the Volkswagen, the impact causing the driver to be struck by the vehicle. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Christopher Reza, was seriously injured. Authorities say there were no other reported injuries and did not have additional inforamtion available.
