Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-820 in Haltom City, TX on November 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe operated by 22-year-old Tristan Simon is accused of colliding with the rear of a Toyota Camry before leaving the scene. Investigators say while fleeing the scene, the Tahoe was involved in a second collision and suffered serious injuries. The driver of the Camry, 29-year-old Christopher Richardson, suffered minor injuries. Simon was, according to reports, arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
