Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver I-610 in Houston, TX on July 27th, 2021. Police say it happened around 11 a.m. A Ford Edge operated by 37-year-old Christopher Wuyts was headed southbound when it is accused of failing to control its speed and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Wuyts suffered serious injuries and, according to responding officers, was not issued a citation due to allegedly being unable to remember the accident. The other driver was not injured.
