What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Inner Loop and Churchill Farms Dr in Georgetown, TX on April 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial van operated by a 51-year-old Pflugerville, TX man headed eastbound on Churchill Farms Dr when it allegedly failed to yield right of way at the stop sign intersection and collided with a Hyundai Elantra operated by a 46-year-old Georgetown, TX man. The impact caused the man minor injuries and his passenger, 40-year-old Cindy Lomas, serious injuries. The Pflugerville man was not injured and reports indicate was issued a Failure to Yield at Intersection charge. The other driver was reportedly cited for No Valid Driver's License.
