State Police are investigating a crash that injured several people at State Hwy 315 in Rusk County, TX on March 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 44-year-old Jose Angel Resendez was headed northeast on Hwy 315 when another vehicle turned left ahead of the vehicle. It took evasive action before colliding with the rear of a semi-truck. It then collided nearly head-on with a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 47-year-old Minden, LA woman. The crash left a passenger in the Ford, 36-year-old Cindy Torres, with serious injuries. Two child passengers also had serious injuries, as did the Minden woman. Resendez had minor injuries.
