Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1408 in Jasper County, TX on September 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:31 p.m. According to investigators, a Ram 1500 headed northbound on FM 1408 is alleged to have veered from the roadway for unclear reasons. While attempting to return to the road, the vehicle allegedly overcorrected and entered into a bar ditch. Police say the vehicle overturned, leaving 71-year-old driver, CJ Collins, seriously injured.
