What Happened

A two-vehicle crash led to the death of a driver at US 287 in Ennis, TX on January 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:05 a.m. Investigators state 46-year-old Clarence Louis Bostian was behind the wheel of a Mazda 3 headed northbound approaching a tractor-trailer at an alleged high rate of speed. The Mazda ended up colliding with the rear of the tractor-trailer under circumstances that remain unclear. The collision left Bostian with injuries he later died from at an area hospital. The other driver was uninjured, according to police. Authorities were not ready to disclose additional information.
