Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at 17th St and Clay Ave in Waco, TX on October 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:31 a.m. A Jeep Renegade operated by a 26-year-old Waco man was westbound on Clay Ave when it reportedly collided with A Chevrolet Malibu operated by 53-year-old Claudette Caldwell before also crashing into a fence and pole. Caldwell suffered serious injuries while the Waco man suffered minor injuries. Records indicate the driver was issued a citation for Red Light Flashing.
