What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 281 in Hamilton County, TX on June 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:07 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Clayton Miller was headed southbound at the time. A Mazda pickup truck operated by a 25-year-old Hamilton man was in a left turn lane and authorities allege the vehicle failed to yield when making the turn, traveling into the path of the motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, leaving Miller with suspected serious injuries. The Hamilton man was not injured, according to investigators. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against the driver.
