What Happened

Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on December 15, 2024, at approximately 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 105 and Business SH 105 in Montgomery County, Texas. According to officials, a 2005 Honda Civic was attempting to make a left turn when it failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming Volvo tractor-trailer. The vehicles collided at an angle. The 35-year-old driver of the Civic, who was reportedly unlicensed and had a blood alcohol content of 0.18, sustained fatal injuries. The 51-year-old commercial truck driver was not injured. The investigation is complete.
