Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 51 in Cooke County, TX on November 21st, 2022. Police say the incident that happened around 4:58 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-650 operated by a 24-year-old Bowie man was headed northbound on FM 51 around a curve when it began to hydroplane and went into a skid and into a southbound lane, colliding with a Lexus ES 350. The driver of the Lexus, identified as 42-year-old Clifford Lazarus Roberts Jr, suffered fatal injuries. The Bowie man was uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
