Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Greenville Ave in Allen, TX on August 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Rio operated by 30-year-old Colby Jones was westbound on Chaparral Rd before turning right onto Greenville Ave. The vehicle is believed to have veered from the road into a light pole. The collision caused the vehicle to catch fire, however, Jones was able to escape the vehicle and suffered injuries said to be serious in nature.
